There and Back Again

Love has no form, yet we can all recognise it. It’s something in the way we move, something in the glint of the eye. It’s that little excitement that escapes under our breath from flutters in our stomach. It’s comfort after a long day. It’s tears at the airport – either happy or sad. These things happen naturally, gracefully. They happen when we aren’t looking. They happen in loud moments and quiet. Those are the ones I look for. Those are the frames that I only recognise when I see them, and I press the shutter as subtly as I can so as not to scare them away.
