Apart from the oriental structures, the thing that stays with you most from this garden is the stillness. I visited in the middle of the day, with the sun directly overhead. Even though it was opened in 2015, it feels like the walls have the maturity of an ancient building. There’s something there, like a thought waiting to be expressed with just the right words.
