These shots were part of a photo walk organised by Corri Latapy. We got to the start location just as the clouds dimmed – filled with rain, but not enough conviction to let it fall completely. A drizzle here and there, and a giant diffused light above us (the sky) and we were off to find images of Woodbrook. For those of you not in Trinidad, Woodbrook is a historical area within the capital of Port-of-Spain. It’s where houses turn into business and land prices have many commas. It’s where there’s an energy – reminiscent of the energy people crave when they go to New York. For us, it’s home.
